All military branches have their Explosive Ordnance Disposal Technicians.
There are three different types of badges, known as “CRAB,” awarded to the EOD members. These are Basic, Senior, and Master badges.
After a successful 42-week course, one can wear the EOD badge. The training takes place at the Naval School of Explosive Ordnance Disposal at Eglin U.S. Airforce base in Florida.

Each part of this badge has a meaning:
The Wreath symbolizes the achievements obtained by minimizing accident potentials through the ingenuity and devotion to duty of its members. It is in memory of the EOD personnel who gave their lives while performing their duties.
The Bomb, Copied from the design of the World War II Bomb Disposal Badge, represents the historical and primary objective of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal attack: the unexploded bomb.
The Three Fins represent the significant areas of conventional, nuclear, and chemical/biological. The Lightning Bolts symbolize the destructive power of the bomb and the professionalism, and courage of the Explosive Ordnance Disposal “EOD” personnel in their endeavors to reduce hazards, as well as to render explosive ordnance harmless.
The Shield Represents the Explosive Ordnance Disposal mission. To prevent detonation and to protect property and the surrounding area.
